Pick a software product
To post a video review for software you should first decide what software product you want to demonstrate and find it in Bubblesoft catalog. You might search for the software by keyword or browse software categories
Download and install trial version
Most vendors offer trial version of their software. It means that you can use it for free to create your video review. Download trial version by clicking the following button on product’s page.
It will either start downloading the trial version or bring you to the vendor’s website so you can download the software if the direct link is not available.
After you’ve downloaded the trial install it and get to the next step
Create post about software product
Record a screencast showing the software’s features. Follow guidelines from this tutorial:How to use Camstudio to create video review
Click the following button on the product’s page.
You will get to Add new post screen. Here you can add your video as well as some textual description to it. To upload your video click Bubblecast video icon. Flash widget will popup, it will allow you to upload your video file. After upload click Insert into post and something like
[ bubblecast id=123 ] will appear in your post. This is a reference to your video. Add some text and click Publish.

How to make a good review
- The video should be 1-3 minutes long. If the software has so many features that you can’t fit it into 3 minutes video, make a series of posts. It will get you additional income
- Create multiple videos which show different software features. You might put it in a single post but I’d again recommend to make a series of posts
- Think of a use case that might be interesting to potential buyers. For example, show how a download manager can improve download of big files: start a download, close the download manager and open it again. Thus you’ll show the users that the download is tolerant to interruptions.
- Always add text description to your videos. Google and other search engines will index your post and get it into the search results when someone is looking for the software your video is about.
